Egg Changer

Lets your clients switch their own server software — without opening a ticket.

Adds a Software tab to every server. Clients pick from the eggs you allow, and only ever see eggs from the same nest as their server, so a Minecraft server can never end up as something else.

Setup

1. Download

Grab the .rext file from this page.

2. Upload it to your panel

Put the file on your server, then run:

cd /var/www/reviactyl
php artisan extensions:install egg-changer.rext
php artisan extensions:enable egg-changer
php artisan optimize:clear

If your panel runs as www-data, prefix each artisan command with sudo -u www-data.

3. Choose what to offer

Open your admin panel and look for Egg Changer in the sidebar, under Gestión de servicios.

Tick the eggs you want clients to be able to switch to — for a Minecraft host that's usually Paper, Purpur, Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Hit Save changes.

Nothing is offered until you tick something. That's deliberate: install it today, decide later.

4. Done

Open any server and you'll see the new Software tab.

What your clients see

The eggs you ticked, from their server's nest only.

Switching wipes all server files, so there are two brakes: a clear warning, and they have to type their server name to confirm. The server isn't reinstalled automatically — they're told to do it from Settings, so they can back up first.

Good to know

Clean uninstall. php artisan extensions:remove egg-changer and it's gone.
